THE MONKEY BUS PROJECT

I recently worked on a rather elaborate promotional piece for the new Stephen King movie, “the Monkey”. The client, (Neon) wanted to re-create a rather gruesome scene from the film in full scale. They wanted a school bus loaded with realistic blunt-force-trauma-decapitated cheerleaders hanging out one side of the school bus. The client wanted to then drive the busload of deceased cheerleaders around various points in Hollywood and film the people’s reactions. This was a very fun project, as it had the hallmarks of that legendary classic horror film producer, William Castle! I hope I see more projects with Neon in the future!
