This helmet and armor set was created for a client that wanted a custom cosplay character costume that is an amalgam of the DC Comics characters Batman, Owlman, and a Talon Assassin from the Batman “Court of Owls “ storyline. The helmet was designed to emulate Batman’s general cowl, but then also incorporating an owl like visage. and a medieval knight’s helmet. The helmet was painted in a specialized chrome process, and various areas of the helmet were then candy tinted custom colors. Electronic mini Tesla plates were installed on both profile portions of the helmet, along with custom-sized red LED eye lenses. The armor was custom made form 18 gauge steel, and was also painted and tinted to match the gold, silver, and copper coloring. The costume was very well received by the client.
